M M Bellinger & Sons have been in business since 1932, working from a small garage in Wantage, Oxforshire, the business was born. At that time we sold and repaired used cars and also sold petrol from a couple of pumps on the very small forecourt. The business was then, and is now, family owned and run by Mike Bellinger, who is the current Managing Director. M M Bellinger & Sons took on the Vauxhall Franchise in 1978 and after 11 years, moved to the current site in Grove, Oxforshire.
The Grove site was launched by John Butterfield in 1989 and since then has grown into an award winning, premier Vauxhall site offering the full range of Vauxhall cars and light commercial vehicles. We are also VXR specialist dealers with a range consisting of the 192ps Corsa VXR and recent special addition Arctic, the 240ps Astra VXR, the 255ps Astra VXR Nurburgring, the Zafira and Meriva VXR and the ground shaking 6.2 litre 420ps VXR8.
In 2003, we took on the Chevrolet franchise and built a new showroom at our four-acre site in Grove; this has proved to be a very successful addition to the Vauxhall franchise and continues to perform well, offering market leading value cars. With new models coming in 2009/2010, growth of the Chevrolet brand is set to continue especially in these difficult market conditions owing to the low starting price of each model.
Both franchises provide new car special offers from 0% finance to selling cars at wholesale cost price but always with the very best customer service and good old fashioned value built in as standard. The company ethos has stood us well over time and it's the fabric of what we do today; in fact some of our customers have been buying cars from Bellingers for over 40 years - it is something we are very proud of.
